A safe space to live and learn
There are two requirements to join the Women in STEM Living-Learning Center:
- A demonstrated interest and willingness to learn more about science, technology, engineering, and/or math. The Women in STEM Living-Learning Center accepts freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors including transfer students from a variety of majors and academic interests, including fields such as engineering, computer science, informatics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, astronomy, physics, geological sciences, cognitive science, neuroscience, and environmental science.
- Enrollment in a one-credit seminar course during the fall semester of your first year in the program as a first time undergrad at IU. The seminar is designed to introduce you to careers in STEM fields and help you cultivate the skills required for a successful career both here at IU and beyond. This requirement is waived for returning students even if it is your first year in the WSTEM LLC.
